Monday’s Moments

Monday’s Moment … today we celebrated Keisha’s First Birthday with family and friends!! Ohhh what a day! Peter’s brother and Sister-in-law came from Toronto, our friends Kurt & Catherine with their twins William and Susan came from Aurora, along with friends from here in town, my lifelong friend Sherrie and her husband Daryl along with their 3 children. My brother and his girlfriend also stopped over for a bit as well. 

Thankfully the weather held off nicely, just a slight sprinkling of rain this afternoon while we were husking the corn, but it ended almost as quickly as it began and the sun did come out again with a vengence! The kids all swam, played, ate and considering there were 10 of them here were quite merry!! I will post pictures tomorrow … once I have time to touch some of them up a bit … but I will post one now

21 day challenge … ugh … I didn’t do as well today with my water … but I did manage to get 64 ounces in!!

Saturday’s Moment Just life!! :)

Saturday’s Moment … today my baby girl turned ONE!! How does that happen it seems like only yesterday, she was born.  I do believe she is going to be my wild child she is definitely full of spunk!! LOL!! I love you Keisha Marie!!!

Lacey is still struggling with symptoms from her concussion – dizziness and slight upset stomach – I’m hoping with more rest these things vanish quickly. She’s starting to get a little anxious about the fact that she’s not feeling well and it’s hard to watch her struggle.

Tomorrow is another work day for me …. GAH, I’m starting to dislike working!! LOL!! I suppose after having a year off for maternity leave I should just shut up and suck it up though!! HA!

Friday’s Moment

Friday’s Moment … so I missed my first blog post in a week yesterday … it was a crazy day and then when I tried to get on quickly last night I couldn’t get into wordpress!! It’s been a long week … gah!! Lacey got a concussion in Wednesday night’s soccer game. Which resulted in a trip to the hospital for about 3 hours YUCK!! She’s doing ok … but still has bouts of dizziness and headpains!  I have worked everyday this week so far … and still have 2 more to go!! Tomorrow is my little Keisha’s 1st Birthday – where the heck does the time go???

I started a 21 day challenge with Kat and some other insane digi-scrappers today. My challenge is to increase my water intake each day – I’m a caffeine addict … but I must start drinking more water. Today has been tough … because i have a pretty hardcore headache – from not consuming as much caffeine as usual. I did manage to drink 128 oz of water today while at work though!! I am having a coffee right now as I type this though …cause the headache was getting too intense.

I have been  hosting some chats at Oscraps this week … and have done a few layouts. It’s time now for the layout parade!! LOL!!
