GAH!! Wendesday’s Quick Moment #2

I completely forgot to post today’s Summer Fling Challenge!! Hosted by our guest CheeryO Dumpty!!

We all have huge disk drives, external disk drives, CDs or DVDs filled with kits we absolutely love, want to keep and can’t even think about getting rid of. But for most of us, I’m sure, we mostly scrap with our latest finds (new kits) and don’t often take time to go through that fabulous stash and use these oldies but goodies!
Now is the time to do it!
Your challenge is to create a layout using one of the first kit(s) you ever downloaded here at Oscraps, or, if you can’t remember or can’t find that original kit, then use your all time favourite Oscraps collab kit (provided it’s not the last one, because then it wouldn’t be much of an oldie ).

Wednesday’s Quick Moment

Wednesday Quick Moment … good afternoon ladies!! Just wanted to throw this layout up really quick before I head off for the shower, dinner and then soccer!! Lacey is playing tonight … Danielle played last night … kicked butt again I will be back after soccer with some more news! Nothing major … just feeling the need to be a little chattier than usual today! The Summer Fling event at Oscraps has been rocking along quite nicely this week … thanks the fabulous CHEERYO’S!! THANK YOU ladies!! And I have been hosting a nightly chat … usually around 10pm EST.  Instead of lifting we have been doing layouts with a particular quote!! Last night’s quote was :

Tuesday’s Moment … woooooooot I made it one week bloggin’!! This is a miracle!! HA HA! I’m loving my “moments” I’m off to work today – and then it’s off to soccer with Danielle tonight. Should be an easy win for the girls tonight – this is the 3rd time they have played this particular team and they have won easily each time.

Monday’s Moment

Monday’s Early Morning Moment … good morning all!!! The sun is shining beautifully here today – it’s not too hot yet and my house is going to be cleaned!! I love Mondays now … the day the cleaning lady comes!! WOOT!! The girls and I will spend the morning doing errands and then come home to a sparkling clean house.

Early Sunday Morning Moment

EARLY Sunday Moment … it’s early Sunday morning (like 12:36am EST) but I really wanted to share this moment with you before I head off to bed for the night. As I mentioned earlier I was in need of some scrap therapy time tonight, so I headed off to the Oscraps chatroom and huge out with some gals for a couple of hours. We decided we would scraplift a layout from each other’s favorite layouts file, which is a different twist!! It was a ton of fun!! I lifted one of Cynthia’s favorites … a layout done by fellow scrapper and Oscraps member Eri (click here for her gallery - it’s WOW) – DREAM

Saturday’s Moment

Saturday’s Moment …ohhhh what a night we had last night .. Lots of laughter – good conversation and terrible singing!! LOL!! Someone thought it would be a great idea to bring the Karaoke machine to the bonfire. Can you conjure up the mental image of a bonfire, male soccer players, numerous coolers of cold beer (or in Peter’s case TallBoy cans of Cider and Smirnoff Ice) and a Karaoke machine?? Let me tell you it was an interesting evening. Peter sang a Bob Marley tune … lol …. I don’t think I have laughed so hard in a VERY VERY long time.

I worked today from 8am – 2pm … and sweat my butt off … gah!! But it was an ok day!! Now I’m just hanging out on the computer and working on some layouts!! THERAPY!! AHHHH!!! Oscraps is getting ready to have a Summer Fling next week while the shop is closed for the server move … be sure to come by and check out all the fun!! There will be lots of PRIZES and FREEBIES!!

Friday’s Moment # 2

Friday’s 2nd Moment …. this is just a quick moment before I head out for the evening. Peter had soccer tonight … his team unfortunately is holding the wooden spoon in the family. LOL!! For those of you that don’t know the term “wooden” spoon … well it’s for the team that hasn’t won a game yet to beat themselves over the head with!! HA HA HA! Nonetheless they have fun “most” of the time and are a good group of guys. Tonight we are on our way to bonfire/team gathering/fundraiser – for those of you that know me well enough know that about 6 weeks ago one of Peter’s teammates lost  his wife suddenly to leukemia, they had 3 small children, ages 4,2 and 7 months. So the money from tonight’s gathering is going to the children!! It’s a tragic loss for the team, the family and the world, Veronica was a brillant woman, she taught Lacey for a year and will be sadly missed.

Friday Moment … My good friend Cat has been helping me today learn how to make a PSP Script – for non PSP users this is similar to an action. Without further babble I will show you the results of my lesson today!!
